Privacy Policy
Land Marker is a map of your own land. This policy says plainly what we hold, why, and what we do not do. It describes this app and nothing else.
What we store
- Your email address and a password. The password is never stored — only a one-way cryptographic hash of it, which cannot be turned back into your password. Nobody at Southern Adventures can see or recover it.
- Everything you put on your map: markers, lines, boundaries, labels, notes, depths, dates and any files you attach.
- Your map's location — the coordinates you draw on and the position you save as home.
- Subscription status — whether you are on a trial, active, or lapsed, and when the current period ends.
What we never see
Your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers go from your browser to Stripe and never touch our servers. We hold only Stripe's customer reference and whether you are paid up.
Your location, unless you ask. The app can centre the map on where you are standing, and only does so when you press the button. Nothing tracks you in the background and no location history is kept.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and there is no analytics or tracking product embedded in this app.
Two companies necessarily process data to make the service work: Stripe for payments, and Cloudflare, which hosts the service and stores the database. Map tiles are fetched from OpenStreetMap, which means your map's coordinates are visible to them as you browse, exactly as with any web map.
Other people's maps
Every marker, line and file belongs to one account. The software checks ownership on every single request, not merely when drawing a list — another customer cannot reach your data even if they know its internal reference.
Deleting your data
Email southadvs@gmail.com and we will delete your account and everything on your map. We will do it within 30 days and confirm when it is done. Cancelling your subscription on its own does not delete anything — your map waits for you.
Children
Land Marker is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who sees it, we will email you before it takes effect.
